Lothor

In the television series ', Lothor''' is an evil ninja master. He is played by Grant McFarland, the same actor who plays and voices Sensei Kanoi Watanabe, Lothor's brother. He has his eyes set on conquering the planet Earth and destroying all ninja academies and their ninja masters, to make him the ultimate ninja master.

History

Born on the planet Earth, as Kiya Watanabe, the twin brother to Kanoi Watanabe, he was a ninja student of the Wind Ninja Academy. He was selected to be in the Earth Ninja category. Without anyone else knowing, he started practicing dark ninja magic to use against his enemies. Even as Kiya, he hungered for power as he tried to manipulate Miko, the first female to be in the Wind Ninja Academy, to give him her mystical amulet that she wore around her neck. Luckily, a time-travelling ninja student from the future, Cam, and Kanoi was able to prevent that. When he was banished from the Earth by his and Kanoi's Sensei, he declared that his new name would be Lothor. While happen to be on another planet, he continued his search for power, and learning the dark arts of being a ninja. Some time later, he must have married an evil woman and befriended her family, he then was introduced to his wife's brother/sister's children, Marah and Kapri. He found them very annoying. As time went by, Lothor steadily gathered many minions to his army; mainly Zurgane and Choobo. He has eventually been back to Earth and had fought the Bradleys (the adoptive parents of Hunter and Blake), and had killed them. He even created ninja foot soldiers called Kelzaks. Marah and Kapri's parents had goaded Lothor into letting them go with him on his quest for ruling Earth, to maybe learn how to be truly evil like him. Building a space ship, left the planet, with his minions and nieces, he searched for another ninja academy, the Thunder Ninja Academy. Taking his army, he had captured the Thunder students and Sensei Omino. He then took his army to the WInd Ninja Academy. He had destroyed the academy, captured the Wind Ninja Students, and turned his twin brother, who was older and the sensei of the academy, into a guinea pig. While celebrating his glory, he discovered that three students (Shane, Dustin, and Tori) were left behind. He has sent monstrous warriors after them, but they all fail. He has, however, always stuck by the evil code for destroying a power ranger, that "they must be in their true ranger form." Lothor had realized that the Sensei of the Wind Ninja Academy had a son, his nephew, and was the one who had foiled his plans in the past to control the Academy. Lothor had betrayed his minions, as well as his nieces, as he had destroyed his generals, and planned to get rid of Marah and Kapri while blowing up the ship. Lothor had captured the Ranger powers from the students. Lothor was put into the Abyss of Evil, along with his evil army, except for his nieces, as the Rangers used their ninja abilities of earth, wind, and water against him.

Defeat

After escaping from the Abyss of Evil (during the Power Rangers Dino Thunder two-part episode "Thunder Storm"), Lothor allied himself with Mesogog. When his plans failed, Mesogog turned on him, using his mind powers to shrink him down to the size of an action figure, and trapping him in a jar.

Powers

Lothor's powers are aerial attack, teleportation, hypnotism, telekinesis, force field generation, and energy projection.
