Lombardy-venetia

Lombardy-Venetia was a kingdom created by the 1815 Congress of Vienna to combine the territories of Lombardy (ruled by Austria in 1713-96) and Venetia (under Austrian rule since 1797) under the Austrian Habsburg dynasty. Lombardy was annexed to the kingdom of Italy in 1859 and Venetia in 1866.
