. Lockerbie station, until recently, was the only station in the UK to be owned by a train company whose services do not call at that station. It is owned by
First ScotRail
but all services are provided by
Virgin Trains
. It has now been joined by Long Buckby station which is managed by
Sliverlink
but served by
Central Trains
