The village has a church (All Saints). About half a mile to the north-east is Tolethorpe Hall, a 17th century mansion. Since 1977, it has been used as the venue for an open air Shakespearian theatre. The Little Casterton Working Weekend is held in the village each September. Veteran and vintage agricultural machinery is showcased in a working context.
