Little Audrey

Little Audrey is a fictional character, appearing in Famous Studios cartoons from 1948 to 1959. She is an imitation of the more successful Little Lulu, designed to prevent Famous from having to pay Little Lulu creator Marjorie Henderson Buell royalites for using her comic strip character. Audrey and the other original Famous characters were purchased by Harvey Comics in 1958, who continued to promote the characters under the name Harveytoons.
