List Of Wine-producing RegionsThe following is a list of regions where wine grapes are grown and wine is made from them. Wine grapes mostly grow between the 30th and the 50th degree of latitude, on both the Northern and Southern hemisphere. In 2002, the five largest producers of wine in the world were France, Italy, Spain, United States, and Australia. A complete listing of federally-defined wine regions, called American Viticultural Areas, is available here. To visit the web page of the main venezuelan wine producers, Bodegas Pomar, click here.
