List Of Severn BridgesThis page lists some of the bridges (more than 90) that cross the River Severn in Britain, in order from source to mouth. The Severn has historically been a very important and busy river, and has been bridged throughout history. The bridges that stand today are often of great historical and/or engineering interest - for example the world's first bridge built from Iron crosses the Severn at Ironbridge Gorge. In addition many reaches of the Severn are prone to severe flooding, prompting the design of many unique bridges to cope with this. - Ironbridge (1779, arch) the world's first iron bridge, built by Abraham Darby.

- Upton on Severn bridge (1940, haunched cantilever)
- Mythe Bridge, near Tewkesbury, Glos. (1826, cast iron arch), built by Telford.
- Haw Bridge, west of Tewkesbury. (1961, steel beam semi-arch).
- Maisemore Bridge, carrying the A417. (1956, single masonry arch)
- Over Bridge at Gloucester. (1829, single masonry arch), built by Telford
- Severn Railway Bridge between Lydney and Sharpness (Demolished in the 1960s after accident)
- The Severn Bridge between Chepstow and Aust (1966, steel suspension bridge).
- The Second Severn Crossing (1996, cable-stayed bridge).
