List Of Chiefs Of The Turkish General StaffThe Chief general staff of Turkey is a military person of rank general, who presides the general staff of the armed forces -army, navy, air force - of Turkey. According to the Turkish constitution, in peacetime, he reports to the Prime Minister and serves as the Commander of the Turkish Armed Forces. In times of war, he assumes the "Commander in Chief" authority on behalf of the President.
