List Of Bucharest Metro Stations

This is a list of the current stations on the Bucharest Metro system in Bucharest, Romania. As the network grows larger, more stations will be added to this article. See also Bucharest Metro

Line M1 (red line)

Line 1 was completed in 1983. It diverges from Line 3 at Eroilor, going to Industriilor, and exclusively serves the western part of the city from Industriilor to Politehnica.

Line M2 (blue line)

Line 2 was constructed in 1986 and connects southern and northern neighbourhoods of Bucharest.

Line M3 (yellow line)

Line 3 was born in 1990 with the completion of the section between Gara de Nord and Dristor 2. It started operating from Republica via Piaţa Unirii, Gara de Nord to Dristor 2, sharing tracks with Line 1 from Republica to Eroilor. From Nicolae Grigorescu, a branch line (M5) is also in construction (to be completed by 2006) to Linia de Centură, with the following stations:

Line M4 (green line)

Line 4 is the newest line, constructed in 2000. Currently, it runs from Gara de Nord to 1 Mai in the city's northwest. An extension to this line is also in construction and due to be completed in 2006, with the following stations from 1 Mai:
  • Pajura (Bazilescu) - opening: 2005
  • Laromet - opening: 2006
