List Of Assets Owned By Rogers CommunicationsThe following are lists of assets of Rogers Communications Internet Service Provider Sports Television On November 1 2004, Rogers announced an agreement to purchase two religious-oriented broadcast stations branded NOWTV: CHNU in Surrey, British Columbia, serving the Vancouver market, and the license to operate the future CIIT in Winnipeg. http://www.nowtv.ca/van/rogers_ann.asp The purchase still requires CRTC approval. Radio Rogers' radio stations use a variety of on-air brands and formats. Notable brands associated with the company include Jack FM for a variety music format and The Fan for its sports stations in Toronto and Calgary. Clear FM is a smooth jazz/adult contemporary hybrid in Greater Vancouver, and an adult contemporary station in Winnipeg. In 2004, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission awarded the company licenses to launch news/talk stations on FM frequencies in Halifax, Nova Scotia and in Saint John and Moncton, New Brunswick.
