Lisa Stansfield

Lisa Stansfield (born April 11, 1966) is a British singer from Rochdale, England, the former frontwoman for the Blue Zone. She became a major international star for Affection, from 1990. She is best known for the hit song "All Around the World", which reached the Top Ten in both the United States and Great Britain. In 1992, Stansfield won a Brit award as best British female solo artist. However, her second album Real Love could not tie up to the success of 'Affection'. She continued recording disco-influenced pop throughout the 1990s.
