Lingqu Canal

Lingqu Canal (Simplified Chinese:灵渠,Traditional Chinese:靈渠, Pinyin: Lng Q) is located in Xing'an county, near Guilin, in Guangxi province, China. In 214 B.C., Qin Shi Huang, the First Emperor of the Qin Dynasty (221-206 B.C.), ordered the construction of a canal connecting the Xiang and Lijiang rivers.
