Linex

GNU/LinEx is a Linux distribution based on Debian, with GNOME as desktop. GNU/LinEx is an initiative of the regional government of Extremadura. It is intended to be used in all schools in Extremadura, as well as in official institutions. It is actively promoted for business and home use as well. GNU/LinEx is not the GNU project's distribution of choice, since like Debian, it includes non-free software (contrary to some rumours).

Some features

LinEx works only on i386 (onwards) computers.
