Lincoln Village, CaliforniaLincoln Village is a census-designated place located in San Joaquin County, California. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 4,216. Geography Village is located at 38°0'15" North, 121°20'4" West (38.004122, -121.334544). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.9 km² (0.7 mi²). 1.9 km² (0.7 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 4,216 people, 1,569 households, and 1,168 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 2,229.9/km² (5,747.9/mi²). There are 1,615 housing units at an average density of 854.2/km² (2,201.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 79.32% White, 2.92% African American, 1.04% Native American, 4.27% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 6.74% from other races, and 5.69% from two or more races. 19.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 1,569 households out of which 35.9% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.1% are married couples living together, 18.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 25.5% are non-families. 21.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 11.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.69 and the average family size is 3.12. In the CDP the population is spread out with 29.0% under the age of 18, 6.9% from 18 to 24, 26.6% from 25 to 44, 21.5% from 45 to 64, and 16.1% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 37 years. For every 100 females there are 87.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 81.4 males. The median income for a household in the CDP is $49,940, and the median income for a family is $55,402. Males have a median income of $40,000 versus $30,673 for females. The per capita income for the CDP is $22,115. 8.4% of the population and 7.3% of families are below the poverty line.
