Limecat

Limecat is an Internet meme, located at limecat.net. The site contains an image of a scowling cat wearing what one would assume is a carved lime. Further investigation has led many to speculate that the fruit in question is, in fact, a pomelo. The image has the tagline "Limecat is not pleased." Limecat is fawned by Internet message board participants in an ironic fashion. The lime is referred to as the "Mystic Rind" and it is conjectured that Limecat fought the Clock Spider and won. Also several other images have been produced and altered featuring a cat with said lime helmet. Some of these variations include a cat with dreadlocks and a cat with a gas mask. Limecat is rumored to have an illegitimate kitten, Linecat, who has a lack of hair apart from his head and paws. The site warns people not to link at the picture, which is perhaps an attempt of reverse psychology. It is more likely an attempt to prevent people from linking at the picture and using the host's bandwidth while not linking the webpage itself.
