Lima Metro

The Lima Metro (also called Tren Urbano), which provides the Peruvian capital Lima with mass transit services, is one of the newest urban railway systems in South America. Its first line was inaugurated in 2003, but many stations have still not yet been opened. It currently covers a distance of 9.8 km and has seven operational stations:
  • Villa El Salvador
  • El Sol
  • Pumacahua
  • Villa Mara
  • Miguel Iglesias
  • San Juan
  • Atocongo
