Library Journal

Library Journal is a trade publication for librarians. It was founded in 1876 by Melvil Dewey (familiar as the inventor of the Dewey decimal system). It reviews library-related materials and equipment. Its prepublication reviews of several hundred books each month influence library purchases and receive great attention from publishers.
