Library Hotel

The Library Hotel is a hotel in New York City, located at 299 Madison Avenue. They claim to have 6000 books in the hotel, organized by the Dewey Decimal Classification. Their claim to fame is being sued by the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) who are the owners of the Dewey Decimal Classification. The hotel boasts unique accomodations: each floor is themed after a major category of the Dewey Decimal Classification, and each room is a subcategory or genre. Room themes include Erotic Literature, Botany, and Philosophy, for example. All rooms have a small compliment of books and decorations that accompany the theme.
