Libertarian Workers' Group
The
Libertarian Workers Group
was a
New York City
based
affinity group
which was a member of the US
Anarchist Communist Federation
(ACF). The Libertarian Workers Group (LWG) left the ACF in
1981
, as did other affinity groups. The LWG had conferences with these other affinity groups, which were mostly in
Toronto
,
Canada
. Out of this came the journal
Ideas and Action
. In
1984
, the LWG began going on a more
anarcho-syndicalist
track than the more
councilist
Canadian groups, so LWG broke off from them and changed its name to the
Workers Solidarity Alliance
. Ideas and Action became solely the WSA's journal henceforth.
