Lexus Gs

The Lexus GS is a car manufactured by the Toyota Motor Corp. under the Lexus brand. In Japan, it is sold as the Toyota Aristo. It was introduced in 1993.

1993

Production of the GS 300 began on February 22, 1993 at the Tahara, Japan assembly plant.

1998

The GS was redesigned in 1998 and the V8 GS 400 was added. The GS 430 replaced the GS 400 in 2001. The 1998 Lexus GS began production on August 4, 1997. The GS was Motor Trend's Import Car of the Year for 1998. It also made Car and Driver magazine's Ten Best list for 1998 through 2000.

2006

The current generation GS was first sold in the 2006 model year. Models are the GS 330, with a 3.3 L V6 and the GS 430 with the same 4.3 L V8 used in the previous model. GS
