Les Misrables (1935 Movie)

Les Misérables is a 1935 film based upon the famous Victor Hugo novel of the same name. It was adapted by W. P. Lipscomb and directed by Richard Boleslawski. The film starred Fredric March as Jean Valjean, Charles Laughton as Inspector Javert, Rochelle Hudson as Cosette, Florence Eldridge as Fantine and John Beal as Marius.
