Russian
mineralogist
who was first to investigate the
Tunguska event
of 1908. He first came to
Siberia
in
1921
. He was born in
1883
in the city of
Tartu
in
Estonia
and died of
typhus
in a
Nazi
prison camp
on
April 24th
,
1942
.
