) is one of the last german writing czech writers.
Life
Since 1936 Lenka Reinerov wrote as a journalist. She fled to
Paris
in
1938
, later to
Morocco
and
Mexico
. She returned to the Czech Republic after
1948
. Within stalinistic supressions she was deported to the czech province and first rehabilitated in
1964
. After the
Prague Spring
in
1968
she was pushed of the communist party. In
1999
she was awarded with the german literature-prize
Schillerring
.
