Lemgo

Lemgo is a city in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany with a population of 42.534 (2002-12-31). It was founded in the 12. century by Bernhard II at the crossroad of two merchants-tracks. Lemgo was member of the Hanseatic League, a middle-age trading association of free cities in several northern European countries such as The Netherlands, Germany or Poland.
