Lee Mansion National Memorial

Lee Mansion National Memorial is located in northern Virginia, United States, across the Potomac River from Washington, DC, in the Arlington National Cemetery. As the Arlington House, it was the home of Robert E. Lee, inherited by his wife. During the American Civil War, the Lee family abandoned the house; it was used as a field hospital during the First Battle of Bull Run, and made a national memorial in 1925.
