Laurie Foell

Laurie Foell is an Australian actress best known for her portrayal of both Angela "Angie" Russell and her cousin Josie, on the successful Australian soap opera Home and Away. Foell played Angie Russell from 2002 to 2003, when the show's ratings were slipping. Her character quickly became one of Australia's favorite villainesses, and the storylines revolving around her - ultimately ending in her murder, and subsequent investigation, which included the revelation that new-girl Tasha was her daughter, are credited with heightening the show's popularity. In a Twin Peaks-style move, she returned to the show in August 2004 as Angela's cousin Josie. Foell's other acting credits include a starring role on the New Zealand Soap opera City Life in 1996.
