Lance Berkman

William Lance Berkman (born February 10, 1976 in Waco, Texas), a baseball player for the Houston Astros. He was drafted by the Astros in the first round of the 1997 amateur draft, the sixteenth overall selection. Berkman attended Rice University, where he set multiple records. He holds the following season and career records at Rice: runs scored, RBI, home runs, and slugging percentage. He led the National League in doubles in 2001 (55) and RBI in 2002 (128). He made the NL All-Star team in 2001, 2002, and 2004, starting the 2004 game. He also was runner up in the 2004 home run derby with 21 homers.
