Lamb Of God (Music)

The Lamb of God is a chant of the Catholic mass. It is chanted during the fraction rite. It has been set to music by many composers (see also Mass (music)). The Latin text is:
Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccta mundi:
miserre nobis.

dona nobis pacem.
The current 1972 edition English text is:
Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
Have mercy on us.
