Lake Of Fire

In Christian theology (and Biblical imagery), the lake of fire is a place of perpetual torment (see Revelation 20:14, 21:8). In popular culture, the term "Fire Lake" has been used to indicate reaching the end of the line or death. See this Bob Seger song.
"Who wants to play those eights and aces
Who wants a raise
Who needs a stake
Who wants to take that long-shot gamble
And head out for Fire Lake"
"Eights and aces" being the "Dead man's hand" and alluding to dying.
