Lake Naroch

Lake Naroch (Belarusian: Нарач, Russian: Нарочь) is a lake in North-West Belarus (Myadel raion, Minsk voblast) (79.2 km2, the deepest point about 25 m). The lake is the largest one in Belarus and is a part of Naroch lake group (the others being Myastro (Мястро), Batorino (Баторино), Blednoye {Бледное}). Naroch River flows out of the lake. The lake is a popular resort and tourism site. Young Pioneer camp of national importance Zubryonok was located by the lake. (After the collapse of the Soviet Union the camp was reformed into the National children recreational camp "Zubryonok".)
