Lake Kickapoo

Lake Kickapoo is an artificial lake in Archer County, Texas. Created in 1947. It has a surface area of 6,200 acres (25 km²). Named after the Kickapoo tribe native to the area. One of the nine NAVSPASUR sites is located at Lake Kickapoo (North 33 32.764 West 98 45.763). It is the master transmitter and the most powerful continuous wave (CW) station in the world, at 768 kW radiated power. Kickapoo
