La JornadaLa Jornada is one of Mexico's leading daily newspapers. It was established in 1984 by Carlos Payn Velver. La Jornada generally takes left-of-center stances, criticizing the Fox administration and some of the consequences of economic liberalization. It is also sympathetic toward the Zapatista movement.
