La Catedral

La Catedral is a prison near Medelln in Colombia where Pablo Escobar stayed, and had his own men guard him. Under an agreement with the Colombian government, Escobar had this prison built to his exact standards, with more resemblance of a country club than an actual detention facility. The prison was established more to keep people who wanted to kill him out rather than keep Escobar in. All of the guards were loyal to him and when he wanted to escape he simply walked out the back door. 15 months later he was finally tracked down and shot by Colombian forces with the help of the CIA and Delta Force.
