Kurohone, Gunma

Kurohone (黒保根村; -mura) is a village located in Seta District, Gunma, Japan on the southeast slope of Mount Akagi. The village splits the highest peak of the mountain with Fujimi. As of 2003, the village has an estimated population of 2,667 and a density of 26.28 persons per km². The total area is 101.50 km². The most notable attraction is the Mizunuma Onsen Center (水沼温泉センター), located within Mizunuma Station (水沼駅).
