Kristin Otto

Swimmer Kristin Otto (born 7 February 1966 in Leipzig) is an Olympic medal winner from East Germany. In 1988, Otto became the first woman to win six gold medals at one Olympic Games. Otto ended her swimming career in 1989. She works as a sports reporter for German television. In 1999 and 2000, Otto's former coach and her former doctor were both convicted of doping and causing bodily harm to their former athletes.
