Kravica

Kravica (Кравица) was a Serb village in Bratunac county near Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 1991, it had a population of 357, of whom 353 were declared as Serbs, with no declared Croats, Muslims or Yugoslavs. On January 7, 1993, Orthodox Christmas Day, Muslim forces attacked the village. Men, women and the elderly were killed with no remorse, among them were Mara Boić (born 1909), Vladimir Stojana Stojanović (b. 1915), Risto Koste Popović (b. 1920), Mitar Cvijana Nikolić (b. 1927). A total of 28 people were killed, and 29 perpetrators led by Naser Oric were identified by witnesses.
