Kopitiam

Kopitiams are the traditional breakfast and coffee shops of Singapore and Malaysia. The word is corrupted from the words coffee and tea. The menus are typically simple offering a variety of foods based on eggs, toast, and kaya, plus coffee, tea, and some sort of hot chocolate. Kopitiam is also the name of a Malaysian sitcom about a coffee shop.
