Komungo

Komungo is a traditional stringed musical instrument from Korea. The komungo is a six-string zither with 16 frets on its fretboard. The instruments originated from Koguryo, in the northern part of modern-day North Korea during the 4th century. The komungo is six feet (1.83 meters) long and is played in a sitting-down position with a small bamboo stick called a sultae.
