Komische Oper Berlin

The Komische Oper Berlin is an opera company in Berlin which specializes in German-language productions of opera, operetta and musicals. Its home base is the Komische Oper, which opened in 1892 and was originally known as "Theater Unter den Linden" and seated approximately 1,700. Since recent modernatizations, it now seats 1,270.
