KlismaphiliaKlismaphilia is the paraphilia of deriving sexual pleasure from enemas. John Harvey Kellogg is nowadays regarded as a textbook case of klismaphilia, although he was in his time viewed as a campaigner for health and sexual temperance. Many modern commentators now see him as a man who diverted his entire sexuality into receiving enemas and inflicting them on others. Enemas are available as a service from many practitioners in the sex industry to cater to klismaphiliac desires. Enemas given for other than health purposes are far more common than many believe. Through out the middle of the twentieth century they were given for almost any ailment imaginable and also used as instruments of punishment and domination by many mothers. Often if a child was either over active or droopy enemas were the medicine of choice to made adjustments in behavior. This led to many young children experiencing their first sexual excitement at the hands of their mother dispensing the enemas.
