Kirchheimbolanden
is the capital of
Donnersbergkreis
. It is a small town in
southwestern
Germany
. The first part of the name,
Kirchheim
, dates back to
774
. It became a city in
1368
, and the
Sponheim
family improved its security with many towers and walls. Many ancestors of current world
monarchs
were born in Kirchheimbolanden.
