Kip Winger

Kip Winger is an American rock musician. He began his music career in 1985 when he co-wrote a song for the group Kix's third album Midnite Dynamite. Later in 1985 Winger joined Alice Cooper's band. After making two albums with Alice, Kip left in March 1987 to start his own band. Shortly thereafter, Winger contributed a backing vocals on Twisted Sister's fifth album Love is for Suckers. Winger met guitarist Reb Beach, who was contributing guitar tracks for the album. Reb would soon join Kip's new band, initially called Sahara, then changed to Winger. Drummer Rod Morgenstein, and keyboard player Paul Taylor (musician). Joined later, Around the time they joined the group, its name was changed to Winger. Winger released three albums in the late 1980s and early 90s before breaking up in 1994. Since then Kip has gone on as a solo artist, with the occasional Winger reunion. Guitarist Reb Beach is currently Dokken's guitarist.
