King Tim Iii (Personality Jock)

"King Tim III (Personality Jock)'" is a 1979 (see 1979 in music) song by the Fatback Band from the disco album XII. Released a few months before "Rapper's Delight" (which is often cited as the first commercially released hip hop song), this song has become perhaps the band's most famous and influential and is often cited as the beginning of recorded hip hop.
