Kilcar

Kilcar is a small village in the south west of Donegal, Ireland. The gaelic name, Cill Cara, means "The Church of St. Cara". The village itself consists of a main street with a church at one end and a textile factory at the other end. In between there are a couple of shops and several pubs. The primary school is about half a mile from the main street and the area of Kilcar stretches all the way to the river which separates it from the next village, Carrick, which is about 4–5 miles away.
