Khudjand

Khudjand (also transliterated as Khudzhand) is a city in Tajikistan. It is the capital of Leninobod region and has a population of 164,000 (1991). It was in Uzbekistan from 1924 to 1929. It was known as Leninabad from 1936 to 1992.
