Khawja Farid

Khawja Farid (18451901) was a legendary romantic poet of the Siraiki language. He was born in Chacharan. He was son of Khawja Khuda Bakhish. His mother died when he was five years old and in twelve year he was orphan, because his father had died. He was educated by his brother Fakhar Jahan Uhdi. He was a scholar of that time and wrote several books. He knew Arabic, Persian, Urdu, Sindhi, Hindi, Barj Bhsha, and Siraiki. He was poet of Urdu and Siraiki. He wrote some poems in Sindhi, Persian, and Barj Bhasha.
