Kel-tec Sub-2000The SUB-2000 is a carbine manufactured by Kel-Tec. It is chambered for a 9mm or .40 caliber cartridges. There are three different designs: one takes Smith and Wesson magazines, one takes Glock magazines, and one takes Beretta magazines. The gun has a folding barrel, and when folded is half its total length. The way it folds (barrel vs. stock), was designed to circumvent the Assault Weapons Ban. The SUB-2000 is easily concealable, with an effective range of 125 yards. At distances closer than 50 yards, the 9mm bullet has the muzzle velocity of a .357 Magnum, at 200 yards, that of a .380 ACP. The net weight unloaded is 4 pounds.
