Keith Taylor

Cllr Keith Taylor (born 1 August 1953 in Southend, Essex) is the principal speaker of the Green Party of England and Wales since August 2004, along with Dr Caroline Lucas MEP, succeeding the late Dr Mike Woodin. Taylor is the leader of the six-strong Green group of councillors on Brighton and Hove city council, where he represents St Peters and North Laine Ward. He is also the prospective parliamentary candidate for the strongest Green constituency in the country, Brighton Pavilion in the May 2005 general election, where Greens hope to topple the sitting Labour Member of Parliament. In 2004, the bookmaker Ladbrokes offered a 1:66 odd for him to win.
