Karsk

Karsk is a cocktail made of moonshine and coffee. It's a traditional Norwegian drink which is most popular in the counties of Trndelag and further north. It also exists in Sweden where it is called kask. Karsk is usually mixed 50/50, but sometimes stronger (more moonshine). A traditional recipe is to put a coin at the bottom of the cup, pour coffee until it can't be seen and then pour in moonshine until the coin can be seen again.
