Karl Offmann

Karl Offmann (born 1940) is a Mauritian politician. After two successive Presidents had resigned over their refusal to sign a controversial anti-terrorism bill, the parliament elected Offmann to serve as the ceremonial head of state on February 25, 2002. He served in the post until Paul Brenger succeeded to the post of Prime Minister and appointed a new President on October 1, 2003. Offmann, Karl Offmann, Karl
